Flowric ACS
Hardening accelerator for concrete with high blast furnace slag content
Flowric ACS is a hardening accelerator that contributes to the initial hydration reaction of concrete using pulverized blast furnace slag powder and enables the production of concrete with good initial strength even when a large amount of pulverized blast furnace slag powder is used. is. Please note that this product does not comply with JIS A 6204 "hardening accelerator" as it does not have a hardening effect on concrete that does not contain pulverized blast furnace slag powder.
Features
- ○ Significantly improves the initial strength development of concrete using pulverized blast furnace slag powder.
- ○As it is a low viscosity liquid type, it is instantly dispersed into concrete in a short mixing time.
- ○Does not significantly affect concrete workability or air volume.
- ○ Does not contain chlorides that cause rust such as reinforcing bars and steel materials in concrete.
How To Use
- ○Flowric ACS can be added either directly, by adding it at the same time as the mixing water during concrete production in a plant, or by adding it to pre-mixed concrete, after adding it. If you are concerned about changes in fluidity over time after addition, we recommend the post-addition method.
- ○The standard amount of Flowric ACS used is 1.5wt% based on the mass of the binder, but it will vary depending on conditions such as blast furnace slag pulverized powder replacement rate, water binder ratio, materials used, and temperature. Please determine the appropriate amount to use by trial kneading in the range of 0.5 to 5.0 wt% based on the mass of the binder.
- ○If you wish to use Flowric ACS outside the recommended usage range above, please check the properties by trial kneading or consult with our representative.
- ○Calculate Flowric ACS as part of the unit water volume.
- ○When using Flowric ACS, fluidity may decrease slightly and the amount of air may fluctuate. In that case, please adjust the amount of admixture used in the base concrete, such as our high-performance AE water reducer or AE agent. Please consult our representative regarding the usage amount of each.
